Support to QAC / Field Engineering / Construction as and when required
Provide daily/weekly project updates to project managers.
Familiarity with ISA, IEC-61511 (IEC-61508) safety Standards and standards like ASME, NACE etc.
Studying Purchase and Technical datasheet to inspect the customer and company standard. Making detailed Bill of Materials including shipments and bought outs of Unit Control Panels and Instruments. Assisting Purchase engineer in procurement. Taking part in kick-off meeting with clients and customers.
Involving in planning and preparing Schedule for the Design, engineering, assembling, mounting, testing, and delivering the Gas Turbine unit control panel.
Preparing & Reviewing Layout, Field Wiring Diagram, I/O list, Instrument List, Junction Box Details, Cable Schedule to understand the specification for making Wiring, Construction Layout and other documentation.
Reviewing the P&I Drawing of Plant and to extract every signal under controlling Scope to design size of the PLC, I/O assignment and assisting software engineers to do controlling program using Functional Description.
To configure controlling and monitoring systems and Testing every signal from systems in the control panel to the Field and Vice versa based on IO list (Loop Check) and Integrating DCS with third-party systems without Punches.
Designing and customizing HMI/SCADA for the given project and to configure all signals needed, establishing communication from HMI to PLC/DCS including trends and alarm configuration. Testing communication & protocols like Modbus/OPC/Profibus with third-party systems.
Ensuring all HSE Safety measures and Quality standards including Earthing (PE, FE, ISE), CB rating, Grounding, Ingress protection(IP).Also Spares, Redundancy etc has been followed in all designs and construction of Unit control panel.
Documentation of Test procedures, communication list etc needed for commissioning of the UCS. Troubleshooting Hardware and software problems of the Turbine unit control panel. Supporting field engineers in construction, commissioning & Maintenance of panels and Field Instruments.
Coordinating & Liaison with client inspectors for FAT after Pre-FAT & Managing the given project with Lead engineers using valuable time and manpower effectively to meet Schedule.

Role: Instrumentation Engineer.
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to provide services for its Rabab Harweel Integrated Project (RHIP) located in the Harweel Cluster of fields in the south of the Sultanate of Oman.
The RHIP facility will include sour gas processing facilities and associated gathering and injection systems and export pipelines. It will handle the production of oil and gas from the Harweel oil reservoirs via Miscible Gas Injection and the production of gas with condensate from the Rabab reservoir through partial recycling of sour gas. The facility will deliver peak export of 4.9 MMsm3/d of sweet gas and 9700 m3/d of condensate in addition to approx. 16 MMsm3/d of high pressure sour injection.
